Three AEC Tech Conferences Coming up in Finland

The technologies driving construction are evolving perhaps faster than ever before. How do you make sense of how they could enhance your competitiveness? I’m involved in three unique AEC tech conferences: The World of Digital Built Environment WDBE, AI in AEC, and InfraBIM Open. They all take place in Finland, the country that has been at the forefront of AEC tech for several decades.

WDBE – October 3-4, 2024, in Helsinki and Tallinn

This is the seventh WDBE – The World of Digital Built Environment Summit. The 2024 theme is Reshaping Business Models for the Future. The event features eight keynotes, community sessions, solution highlights, and an awards party. This is a twin-city conference!

The international keynote speaker lineup is impressive: Mark Bryan, Olivier LEPINOY, Amy Peck, William Stewart MRICS WELL AP, Jaan Saar, Kevin Cardona, Amy Marks, and Michael Jackson.

InfraBIM Open – February 3-5, in Tampere

buildingSMART Finland’s infrastructure domain founded InfraBIM Open in 2017. The first event was held in Tampere, Finland, in January 2018. The event aims to be the best infrastructure openBIM conference series globally.

The call for presentations is open until September 9, 2024. The presentations shall be held on-site.

AI in AEC – March 19-20, 2025, in Helsinki and virtual

The world’s first artificial intelligence conference series for the built environment started in 2021. In 2024, the event gathered around 250 participants from 39 countries and received excellent feedback on its content.
