Chipman Design Architecture is proud to announce the promotion of four standout team members to the position of Principal: Nelly Augustyn, Caitlin Gurra, Mark Scheerhorn, and Dave Carlson.
Augustyn, Gurra, and Scheerhorn previously served as Senior Managing Directors, while Carlson held the role of Director of Technology.

As Principals, Augustyn, Gurra, and Scheerhorn will collaborate closely with Lauren Chipman, focusing on developing new client relationships, strengthening existing
partnerships, and guiding firm-level decision-making. Carlson will lead the firm’s technology strategy, ensuring its operations remain at the forefront of innovation and
security.

Meet the New Principals
• Nelly Augustyn, a Chipman Design Architecture veteran since 2006, is eager to strengthen client-specific teams and improve operational efficiency. “I’m looking
forward to connecting with our people in more meaningful ways and prioritizing those relationships,” she shared.

• Caitlin Gurra, who joined the firm in 2013, is excited to mentor the next generation of design professionals and contribute to the firm’s expansion into
new sectors. “This is a great opportunity to get more involved in the high-level business strategy and strengthen our presence in emerging markets,” she noted.

• Mark Scheerhorn, with the firm since 2010, aims to foster stronger connections between teams and broaden the company’s client base. “I’m accustomed to
working with diverse personalities, and I look forward to using that strength to bridge gaps and drive collaboration,” he said.
