James Monk, 25, a quantity surveyor from Cambridge, has been named CIOB’s 2024/5 Apprentice of the Year.
He was picked from a group of 12 to receive the accolade.
Monk, who works for Munro Building Services, completed his Level 4 construction quantity surveying technician apprenticeship in January 2024.
He is now working towards a Level 6 degree apprenticeship.
