Fleetio Acquires Auto Integrate, Expanding Reach in Fleet Maintenance

Fleetio has announced the acquisition of Auto Integrate, a digital maintenance authorization platform widely used in the fleet services industry. The acquisition significantly expands Fleetio’s capabilities, particularly in repair order management and shop connectivity. Together, the two companies now serve over 8 million vehicles and support operations across more than 110,000 repair shops throughout North America.

The funding round was led by existing investor Elephant and new investor Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives.

CEO Jon Meachin said the deal enhances the company’s ability to provide tools for managing fleet maintenance more efficiently, especially by combining Auto Integrate’s repair order approval system with Fleetio’s broader fleet optimization software.

Auto Integrate’s CEO, Terry Bartlett, who will join Fleetio’s leadership team, said the integration addresses ongoing customer requests for better alignment between fleet operators and repair facilities. The combined system is expected to streamline communication, reduce downtime, and improve overall maintenance workflows.

Tony Summerville, Fleetio’s founder and board chair, highlighted the potential for the new platform to simplify operations for both fleets and service shops, particularly when dealing with large or complex repair networks.

Fleetio plans to continue investing in Auto Integrate’s platform, with a focus on integrating its tools into the Fleetio ecosystem. This includes supporting existing customers from both companies — such as fleet management firms, rental companies and third-party vendors — while also aiming to expand capabilities for a broader user base.

Representatives from both Elephant and Goldman Sachs Alternatives emphasized that the deal was driven by the opportunity to combine complementary platforms and leverage data insights for future improvements in predictive maintenance and operational efficiency.

Fleetio, founded in 2012, provides cloud-based software for managing vehicle fleets and maintenance tasks. Auto Integrate specializes in facilitating digital repair order approvals between fleets and repair shops.
