Henricksen, a leading national contract furniture dealer, is excited to announce that Ryan Esche, Principal and Vice President, Sales – IL, has been promoted to Principal and General Manager – IL. In this role, Esche will lead business development and sales initiatives, working closely with project managers and designers to continue delivering exceptional results for clients.
“During his time at Henricksen, Ryan has been instrumental in securing key partnerships in our top industry sectors and has established himself as a trusted leader,” said Russell Frees, Henricksen President and CEO. “I look forward to seeing him continue building on that momentum as he focuses on growth opportunities that will further Henricksen’s legacy in Illinois.”
Bringing over 25 years of experience in the commercial real estate and furniture industries, Esche joined Allsteel in 2009 as Business Development Manager. This pivotal career step contributed to his expertise and increased his familiarity with key aspects of the business. After nine years with Allsteel and HNI Corp., he joined Henricksen as Director, Business Development – IL, where he built upon his relationships within the company and its partners. As the new General Manager of Illinois, including Henricksen’s corporate headquarters, Esche will continue to expand the company’s reputation in the region and guide his teams as they evolve Henricksen’s influence and capabilities.
“My history with HNI provides great connectivity and a solid foundation of trust with our largest manufacturing partner, as well as the various firms and individuals we work with regularly,” said Ryan Esche, General Manager – IL. “Having those established relationships is essential as we lay the groundwork for the future. I believe the best results come from internal alignment and collaboration. We already have a great team, so continuing to understand how to leverage their strengths best as we further develop our capabilities will be a key priority as we look ahead.”
Growth will continue to be a significant component of Esche’s new role. “Right now, we are pursuing more K-12 and hospitality opportunities. These industries enable us to benefit from in-house experience and expertise. We’ll also be building our A/V capabilities to better meet client needs,” said Esche. Staying connected to the changing world of work will remain essential to ensure products and solutions continue to meet clients’ needs now and in the future. Esche shares, “We are committed to being a strong, informed partner for all our clients, regardless of industry.”
During his 15-year career with Henricksen and Allsteel, Esche has become involved with Henricksen’s affiliation with DIFFA and CoreNET, tapping into valuable industry resources to strengthen his network further. Esche also looks forward to continuing hallmark Henricksen events such as SMASH, Henricksen’s annual ping pong tournament, where teams compete and fundraise for their chosen charities.
