Stonhard, a global leader in manufacturing and installing high-performance seamless floors, walls, and linings, announced today the completion of a 33,000-square-foot expansion at its Polymer Place production facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana. “This expansion is more than additional square footage — it’s a major leap forward in how we deliver value to our customers and support our employees,” said Jeff Beam, Senior Operations Manager at Stonhard. “The automation boosts productivity and improves workplace safety and employee retention.”
Previously, the production process relied heavily on manual labor, including repetitive lifting of 40-pound bags. The newly implemented system streamlines the operation and reflects Stonhard’s broader continuous improvement initiative. Stonhard’s Fort Wayne facility continues to be a cornerstone of its manufacturing footprint, and this investment ensures the company remains agile and responsive to the growing demands of its global customer base.
